This beautiful 2 bedroom property is situated just a stone's throw from unspoilt 9 Mile Beach, with private access via the front of the property. Just 12.5 kms from the picturesque township of Swansea, where a variety of eating establishments, local art/craft shops and fully stocked general store are ready and waiting. Approx 150 kms from Hobart and Launceston (1.5-2 hrs drive), Beach Haven is the

perfect base for day trips to other beauty spots along the east coast of Tasmania, such as Coles Bay & the Freycinet Peninsula, Bicheno, Friendly Beaches and the world renowned Bay of Fires. As well as a wonderful array of options for fresh produce, such as seafood, fruit and world class wines. The premises is 2 bedroom, one set up as a queen and the second bedroom furnished with queen and single bed. A bed divan sofa in the living room provides another option for a double bed.

Beach Haven has been sold! This page will no longer be active and the house no longer available for holiday rent. Thank you to everyone who has stayed over the last 12 years. It’s truly such a sad moment for us, but it has been an absolute pleasure to share the house and its beautiful, comfy vibe, with every single one of you. Take care all, and may you find every reason possible to holiday on the East Coast or anywhere else on this amazing island ❤️ Liz

School Holidays are coming up, so there’s no better time to have a little winter get away with (or without) the kids.

With the changing of the seasons, and the colder weather upon us, the tiredness seems to set in and there’s nothing quite as rejuvenating as a mini-break by the seaside, with a woodfire, a good book and a glass of wine.

This school hols, 10-24 July, we are running a special rate.

🔥 Up to 3 guests -$250 per night (minimum stay 2 nights) or 3 nights for $650

🔥 3+ guests - $280 per night (minimum stay 2 nights) or 3 nights for $760

Beach Haven is just 1.5 hours from Hobart and Launceston, so is the perfect getaway, when you don’t want to have to spend half your break on the road. Far enough to really be ‘away’, without being too long and tiring a drive.

The end of the busy/peak season has arrived. We are traditionally quiet here in May and it often comes as a welcome relief, after around 4 months of heavy bookings.

This is one of my favourite times of the year on the East Coast of Tassie. The sun shines, the sky is blue, days are calm and still warm but cool enough of an evening to warrant lighting the woodburner and snuggling up on the couch.

Like Spring here, it's a beautiful mix of the seasons.

For the months of May, June & July, you can book with us directly for $220 per night for a double (2 guests), $250 for up to 4 guests, or $290 per night for up to 7 guests*.
