"Had a short trip away from Sydney with my family. This caravan park is nothing short of amazing, and I feel like pretty much everything to accommodate a person in a wheelchair like me has been though of, from on site hoists, height adjustable kitchen benches, even a ramp into the swimming pool, and a water safe wheelchair to take guests in. I really enjoyed the onsite sensory room - a calming, dimly lit room with soothing music and soft lighting, as well as fluffy cushions to sit on and patterns and textures to relax and rejuvenate the eyes and brain. The annual Float Your Boat festival returns to Lake Macquarie on the weekend of 19th & 20th June!

🎆 Float Your Boat is an open competition for boat owners to dress their boats with lights and take part in a flotilla parade with prizes for best displays.

🌟 There are many vantage points around the lake to see the spectacular display of lights - rug up and bring the family along to enjoy the parade.

🏆 If you are interested in participating in the competition applications are open until 31 May
