Meet our Scott and Howard — father and son, and two men who quite simply are The Rose. 🌹❤️

Howard was the man who helped create our favourite publican — and together, these two have owned it, lived it, laughed in it and run it (with the permission of their wives).

The Rose isn't just a pub to the Scott and Howard family. It’s home. It’s family. It’s a lifetime of stories, characters, celebrations and plenty of b**rs along the way.

And while Howard is no longer with us, his presence is still very much felt around the pub.

We still giggle about his jokes.
We still tell his stories.
And, let's be honest, we're pretty sure he still gets the last word. 😂

Locals make us special. Their dads made them who they are.

This Father’s Day, we're celebrating the dads who helped shape our locals — and the special memories they leave behind.

Meet Jimmy Jam (with hair!) and his dad Brian. 😂❤️

Before the hair disappeared, Jimmy Jam was clearly giving his dad a run for his money in the larrikin department.

Some things are inherited.
The good looks? Maybe.
The cheekiness? Definitely. 😏

We love our Rose locals — the characters, the stories, and the families who have been part of the place for years.

Locals make us special. Their dads made them who they are.

This Father’s Day, bring Dad down for a proper Rose celebration.

You know Shellie and meet the Ross clan, with the man who started it all — her dad Ken. ❤️

A proper Rose family photo, and proof that good times, good stories and a healthy dose of cheekiness can clearly be passed down through the generations. 😂

We love seeing our local families together — the big personalities, the familiar faces and the dads who have been part of the Rose story along the way.

Locals make us special. Their dads made them who they are.

This Father’s Day, get the clan together and bring Dad down to the Rose.

🏆 GRAND FINAL, HERE WE COME! 🏆

Our local boys, the Rose’s Alexandria Rovers, are playing in the Grand Final this Sunday at Redfern Oval! ⚽️🌹

Get down, make some noise and help cheer the boys all the way to victory!

Then, win or lose, join the team back at The Rose for a well-earned b**r or two 🍻

Let’s go, Rovers! 🩷💜

Meet Linda — front and centre as the baby — with her sisters and their dad, Andrew. ❤️

Before she became one of the Rose family’s much-loved locals, Linda was just this little bundle being very carefully looked after by her dad and big sisters. 🥰

We love this old-school family photo — the outfits, the serious little faces and Dad looking like he's got his hands very full! 😂

It’s amazing to think how many years, laughs, celebrations and stories have come since this photo was taken.

Locals make us special. Their dads made them who they are.

This Father’s Day, celebrate the important man in your life with us at The Rose.
