Last weekend, we came together to celebrate the first NITA Graduation for 2025 at Ayers Rock Resort, Ulur̲u 🎓✨

The National Indigenous Training Academy equips young Indigenous Australians with education and skills in tourism and hospitality, fostering leadership and opening doors to career opportunities with nationally accredited qualifications.

We partner with some truly life-changing organisations, and Clontarf Foundation is one of them. The foundation’s Clontarf Academy runs mentoring programs for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, rewarding 100% school attendance with camps across Australia.

We were privileged to host six promising boys on the annual Uluru camp recently. Their days were packed with hands-on learning plus opportunities to connect with Country, like guided Uluṟu walks and Wintjiri Wiṟu.

We have it on good authority that the boys loved the experience so much, many are seriously considering a move to Uluṟu for a NITA traineeship - where they’ll join five Clontarf alumni based here already.

Over the past two weeks, our Indigenous Engagement Team has been travelling across the APY Lands, talking with Aṉangu about employment, education, and enterprise opportunities at Ayers Rock Resort. This initiative is part of a Careers Roadshow organised by TAFE SA.

The team have seen tremendous interest in the National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA) and in opportunities close to home for Aṉangu. Travelling with their trusty coffee machine and Ayers Rock Resort backpacks to give away, they've covered thousands of kilometres!

Anangu hip hop group Dem Mob have been along for the journey. The first group to rap in Pitjantjatjara, they have presented powerhouse performances with a positive message to young people across the Lands.
