If you walk to the Waterfall today it is not so angry. Take the stroll. It is a magic sight to view the waterfall from its base and the walk itself is ever so interesting.

Something really lovely is happening at Amore at the moment. We have a pink lady apple tree at the entrance ramp. We don't get to eat the apples though, because they are being eaten by the king parrots, but we don't mind. The birds know what they like and it isn't the skin - that's discarded. Perhaps next year we may get one apple between us.

The Richmond Birdwing Butterfly - one of the largest species found in south east Queensland - so very pretty with its beautiful wings - was spotted this morning by Kay & John. It was thrilling to see it flitting from one blooming Agapanthus to another. Regrettably it was too quick for us to take a photo but they are very beautiful and graceful

The weather is stunning on the mountain. The flowers are blooming (beautifully) and the bees are buzzing. Certainly a time to come and visit Mt Tamborine

When Avocados and Citrus are in season we welcome guests to take with them when they leave a selection of produce (complimentary of course) grown within Amore's grounds. Presently we have a basket of creamy Avocados and juicy lemons sitting in our entry patio -- they are not there for long. The basket needs yo be refilled regularly.

Up, Up and away. The Hot Air Balloons are doing their thing this morning and by now those lucky passengers will be enjoying a champagne breakfast. A great reward for simply getting out of bed early.
