Surely someone out there will re open this place. Great little pub. The Landlord and property manager are great people, they looked after us from day dot. Huge money has been spent to give this place the best possible chance of survival. Although We didn’t quite have the recipe to keep it open There is most definitely money to be made there. Everyone should get around it and get it up and going again.

Also To anyone one wondering. Laura Livi and myself are doing ok. We will do a trip to the south east soon for all the Livi fans so you can catch up with her. 😊

Well guys a very sad day indeed. I was awoken this morning to a solicitor and two police officers at my door that were at the pub to change the locks. Unpaid rent is the cause. Not much I can do about it. So this is it for the Tant pub. Some of you will laugh, some will cry, some will be glad! I can’t really put in to words everything I would like to say. But I would like to thank everyone that supported us. Thank you for the good times. 15 months ago. Me and my family walked in the doors of this place without a cent to our name and although we walk away with not much more. We had a crack at something a lot of people are too scared to do. We gave it 110% everyday we were here. But at the end of the day I wasn’t good enough. But, I leave with a full heart. The times we’ve had, the mates I have made I loved every minute of it. Love me or hate me you will remember me. There is way too many people to thank so if you have helped me in anyway and read this. Thank you. I would like to say Thank you to my beautiful wife Laura for all her hard work and to my dad also. He was the backbone of this place. Without you guys we wouldn’t have got as far as we did. But I’m sorry for putting you guys through this. I’m sorry I wasn’t good enough. But you guys backed me in from day dot.
To the town of tantanoola Thank you. I love you all. Even my haters. You helped me become a better person. I apologise for keeping you up late at night with music etc. I was only trying to make some money to feed my family. You can all sleep easier now that I am gone.
I suppose to wrap it up I walk away with my head held high because I had the balls to have a go and I have learnt so much in the last 15 months about business, life and everything in between. The things I learnt can’t be taught you have to go through it. My dad taught me to be gracious in defeat and that I am. I even offered the people kicking me out a beer haha. Because that’s who I am.
