The word around town is that Tarnagulla’s beloved old Golden Age Hotel might finally be gearing up to reopen! 👀

At this stage it’s purely rumour and local chatter, so don’t hold us to it, but there’s been plenty of whispers floating around lately that something could be happening behind the scenes at the iconic pub! 🍺

The Golden Age has sat quietly for some time now, with its boarded-up windows becoming a familiar sight for locals and visitors passing through town. 😞

For many, it’s one of those classic country pubs that feels woven into the identity of Tarnagulla itself, so any talk of life returning to the building is bound to get people talking. 💬

Whether there’s any truth to the rumours remains to be seen, but it’s certainly sparked plenty of curiosity around the district. 🤔

A reopened Golden Age would be a welcome sight for many locals who have long hoped to see the historic hotel bustling again! 🥂

For now, take it with a grain of salt, a pot of beer, and the usual country-town gossip filter! 😆

A beautiful old miner’s cottage at Llanelly, tucked between Tarnagulla and Newbridge, just sitting there minding its own business like it’s got a hundred stories to tell! 😌

Weathered timber, rusted tin, long grass and that true “gold rush era” energy – you can almost hear boots on the floorboards and a kettle rattling away inside if you squint hard enough! 🏚️

One of those places that makes you slow down for a second and remember how much history is just quietly hanging around the bush if you bother to look! 👀
