Public Announcement

Just a reminder for our campers: if you’ve been allowed to bring your own chainsaw, that permission is only for cutting up fallen wood. It does not mean cutting down trees of any kind. Our sites are in a protected black‑zone wildlife area, so standing trees — dead or alive — cannot be touched.

There’s more than enough wood on the ground for everyone. And as always, if it looks straight enough to be a fence post or rail, leave it and grab something else.

Please don’t spoil this for others. If it happens again, we’ll have to stop allowing personal chainsaws altogether.

The rain skirted past us apart from a few drops lots of noise . Hopefully Tuesday rain won’t miss us. We desperately need some.

Bookings are starting to come in for Xmas New Year.
We are not open for arrivals Christmas Day as this is our family day.
We love having campers and enjoy seeing them relaxing and chilling out or kids exploring the great outdoors.
Just a reminder to leave the sites as you found them . This means all food, packaging and rubbish to be taken with you.
Dog poo in the immediate site area also needs to be removed.
A final point is be mindful of other campers . They may not want dogs, children, music or early morning games in their site.

!!!PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT. !!!

Dear Valued Campers

We’re writing to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to our pricing, effective 01 Sep 25. This decision has not been made lightly, and comes in response to rising Hip camp fees, operational costs and our commitment to maintaining the quality and service you’ve come to expect from us.

Starting 01 SEP 25, the cost will increase by $5 per camp site.

We deeply appreciate your continued support and understanding.

Contact us if you have an extra large group so we can accomodate you with a camping spot all of your own.

Another great but very cold weekend. The rain skirted around us with only a couple of light showers.
Our campers are wonderful people just looking for a place to chill out.
Thank you to them all for looking after our piece of paradise.
