Tarraleah Lodge

Tarraleah Lodge is part of the Tarraleah Estate, approximately 1.5 hours drive from Hobart on the Western Wilds driving route approximately half way to Strahan.

Built in the 1930’s, the lodge features superb art deco design and craftmanship, used to host some of the worlds most elite hydroelectric engineers and company directors during the building of Tarraleah’s and the Tasmanian highlands Hydroelectric schemes.

Fully restored it features 9 luxury suites, private gardens, stunning views, a dining room and library complete with open fire and a large collection of single malts whiskeys.

During their stay guests have a number of guided and self-guided activities to enjoy in and around the estate, not to mention the many places to explore in the region.
