Please remember that the Sapphire Coast NSW is home to important habitat for endangered shorebirds as well as other native species. Remember to leash your dog unless in a specified off-leash area, walk on wet sand close to the water's edge to avoid nesting areas and pay attention to signage. Remember, dogs are not permitted in national parks.

Following my post from yesterday, I can confirm Tathra Beach Retreat is unaffected by the fire. The house is sporting a new paint finish of pink fire retardant thanks to an aerial water bomber. This will wash off in due course. Very appreciative of the efforts of fire fighters 😊.

Just a short message to those who have stayed or may be booked in to stay, Tathra Beach Retreat was thankfully not affected by the devastating fires that ravaged the town on Sunday 18 March. We are yet to be able to go into Tathra to see for ourselves, once safe we will do so and post a message.
