If a one-night family Bubbletent stay has been on your wish list, this is your heads-up.

The dates - 28, 29, 30 September and 1 October - are the only family single-night stays we’ll be offering for the remainder of 2026. Once they have passed, there won’t be another opportunity to book the family experience for just one night this year.

Please also remember that bookings close seven days before arrival. That means you can’t wait until the week of your stay to check the weather or see how the weekend is looking - the date will already be closed for booking.

Your stay includes the main Bubbletent for the adults, Australia’s only Tiny Bubbletent in a Tree for children aged seven and over, an indoor eco-toilet, outdoor cooking facilities, a firepit with firewood and marshmallows, and a vintage outdoor bath beneath the stars.

When the screens go dark, something wild happens here at Mirumiru.

I've watched so many times now. Families arrive, phones still in hand. Then the kids spot the tent. The transparent ceiling. The sky waiting above.

And just like that, everything changes.

Inside the Tiny Bubble Tent, there's no wifi to distract from the Milky Way stretching overhead. No notifications louder than the birdsong at dawn. Just you, your people, and a view so spectacular it pulls everyone back to what matters.

If a one-night family glamping adventure has been on your list, this is the time to book it. ✨

Select single-night family stays are now available at Mirumiru.

You’ll have the main Bubbletent for the adults, complete with an indoor eco-toilet, plus Australia’s only Tiny Bubbletent in a Tree for the kids, set up with swags, sleeping bags and pillows.

There’s a BBQ for dinner, a firepit with firewood and marshmallows, and a vintage outdoor bath for Mum once the kids are settled in.

All you need to bring is your food, warm clothes and a sense of adventure.

These single-night stays are only available on select dates, and bookings automatically close 7 days before arrival.

You don't always need a whole weekend to get away. Sometimes one night is enough to top up your sense of adventure.

A fire under the stars. A ridiculously comfortable bed. Mountain air. An outdoor bath. Nowhere you need to be and nothing you need to do.

We're making it a little easier to escape to Mirumiru Bubbletent, with one-night midweek stays now available for adults Monday–Thursday.

And for families we have selected single-night stays available 21–24 September and 28 September–1 October. Sleep under the stars in our main Bubbletent, with the kids tucked into their own Tiny Bubbletent in a Tree - the only one of its kind in Australia.

Make a little room in the week for something different. Stay one night, take the next morning slowly and turn an ordinary week into something completely different.

We’ve heard you — families want the option to stay for just one night.

So for the Spring school holidays, we’re opening up a limited number of one-night Family Glamping stays at Mirumiru. These dates include 21 - 24 September and 28 September - 1 October.

It’s a chance to do something a little different with the kids: sleep under the stars, soak up the Tenterfield high country, light the firepit and turn one night away into a proper little adventure. Make the memories you cherish when one day they don't want to holiday with you - trust me it happens faster than you think!

And if Family Bubbletent Glamping has been sitting on your “we should do that” list, this is the time.

Our Family Glamping finishes for 2026 in mid-October, when Captain Thunderbolt returns to its usual couples’ glamping experience - and we take a short break.

There’s something pretty special about Winter at Mirumiru.

The air is cold, the fire is going, the outdoor bath is hot and there’s a warm bed waiting for you at the end of the night.

It’s comfortable, but it still feels like an adventure. A chance to step away from the usual, embrace the cold and do something a little different.
