Some getaways are about more than simply finding somewhere to stay.

They’re about marking a birthday, anniversary or milestone somewhere that feels completely different. Sitting beside your favourite person with a glass in hand as the sun drops across the New England high country. Waking to mountain air. Lighting the fire. Sleeping under a sky full of stars.

You don't always need a whole weekend to get away. Sometimes one night is enough to top up your sense of adventure.

A fire under the stars. A ridiculously comfortable bed. Mountain air. An outdoor bath. Nowhere you need to be and nothing you need to do.

We're making it a little easier to escape to Mirumiru Bubbletent, with one-night midweek stays now available for adults Monday–Thursday.

And for families we have selected single-night stays available 21–24 September and 28 September–1 October. Sleep under the stars in our main Bubbletent, with the kids tucked into their own Tiny Bubbletent in a Tree - the only one of its kind in Australia.

Make a little room in the week for something different. Stay one night, take the next morning slowly and turn an ordinary week into something completely different.

We’ve heard you — families want the option to stay for just one night.

So for the Spring school holidays, we’re opening up a limited number of one-night Family Glamping stays at Mirumiru. These dates include 21 - 24 September and 28 September - 1 October.

It’s a chance to do something a little different with the kids: sleep under the stars, soak up the Tenterfield high country, light the firepit and turn one night away into a proper little adventure. Make the memories you cherish when one day they don't want to holiday with you - trust me it happens faster than you think!

And if Family Bubbletent Glamping has been sitting on your “we should do that” list, this is the time.

Our Family Glamping finishes for 2026 in mid-October, when Captain Thunderbolt returns to its usual couples’ glamping experience - and we take a short break.

There’s something pretty special about Winter at Mirumiru.
