💙 What a magic blue sky weekend we've had here! The days are getting longer and warmer with conditions perfect for exploring the great outdoors.

📍 Basket Swamp Falls in Basket Swamp National Park.

🚙 Mt Lindesay Rd connects to Summerland Way, catering to travellers from the north via Mt Lindesay Hwy or the south via Kyogle and Casino. This scenic route to many of our region's national parks commences at Woodenbong and takes drivers via Koreelah, Legume, Cullendore, Wylie Creek, and Liston before the main township. The turn-off to Basket Swamp NP is located on the left-hand side of Mt Lindesay Rd, about 15km north-east of Tenterfield.

Only 27km from Tenterfield you'll find Boonoo Boonoo (pronounced bunna-bunoo) National Park. 💑 Walking tracks, shady places to picnic, and secluded rock pools along the river make this place the ultimate romantic outdoor setting. 💍 It's even where famous Australian bush poet, Banjo Patterson, proposed to his sweetheart, Alice Walker.
