Standing proudly on the NSW–Queensland border, Bald Rock is one of the region’s most iconic natural landmarks.

Rising from the surrounding bushland, this enormous granite monolith is the largest exposed granite rock of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and offers spectacular views across the New England High Country.

Whether you tackle the summit via the steep Rock Face walk or take the gentler Bungoona Walk, the reward at the top is well worth the effort.
