An Evening Garden Dinner Under the Stars

Join us in the enchanting gardens of The Bungalow & Ivy Leaf Chapel for a beautiful candlelit three-course dinner, celebrating spring in full bloom.

Your Evening Includes:

A seasonal, chef-crafted three-course menu served long-table style beneath the stars, surrounded by candlelight and spring blossoms.

Throughout the evening, one of Tenterfield’s talented local musicians will entertain us, bringing a little extra energy and warmth to the garden as the evening unfolds. Settle in, enjoy good food and wine, relaxed conversation and the company of those around you in one of Tenterfield’s most picturesque garden settings.

The evening will begin with canapés and a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival. Once seated, enjoy a glass of both white and red wine, thoughtfully paired with your Italian-inspired meal. Additional wine will be available to purchase by the glass or bottle throughout the evening.

• Saturday, 17th October 2026
• Arrival from 6.00 pm | Dinner served at 6.30 pm
• Outdoor garden setting, so please dress warmly for the evening air
• Limited seats available

A beautiful snap from one of our frosty winters morning a couple of years ago ❄️🌿

In the 19 years I’ve lived in Tenterfield, this has been the warmest winter I can remember. While these crisp, frosty mornings are always so beautiful in the garden, the unusually mild winter does make me wonder what spring and summer have in store for us.

For now, I’ll enjoy these last few days of winter and send a little prayer out for some much-needed rain. 🤍

Three beautiful ladies, lifelong friends, recently stayed here at The Bungalow and what a joy it was to meet them.

Their friendship began in primary school in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. Life then took each of them on different adventures around the world, yet somehow they all found themselves living just minutes from one another in Brisbane.

It was such a pleasure to have them stay and learn about their past. Friendships like theirs are a beautiful reminder that time and distance can never diminish a true connection.

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Bungalow. I hope our paths cross again one day. 💕

Another beautiful couple visiting us from the Netherlands, who had a wonderful time exploring our magnificent national parks.

As an avid birdwatcher, our guest was often awake early, enjoying quiet mornings in the garden as the birds came to life, singing in the sunshine. What a beautiful way to begin the day.
