Bar, restaurant, kitchen, alcove, booths and balcony looking glorious in Kodachrome colour. Past staff Mark and Nola in the restaurant, Kim and Mark in the bar, Jane Pedersen and Mark Melejnik in the kitchen and Hubert Engel on the balcony. Looking deep into the people and furniture and fittings in these pictures a lot has changed in 32 years or on the surface in overall recognisable structure has it? The infamous bar carpet is still there for example.

Most authentic place to have dinner or a drink in Thredbo. Great atmosphere, really good service and the food is the best in the Mountains, have had some of our best family times having fondue together after a day on the slopes or after a hike in summer - perfect all year round. Z.Young
