Dear Thredbo Friends/Community,
As we farewell the Black Bear Inn, we thank you for the years you have supported us, for the friendships and your generosity.
We feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to take the Black Bear though to its destiny. The Black Bear Inn was certainly an iconic part of Thredbo and will be missed by all.
It was always our intention to keep the Black Bear open to the very end, to allow the final farewells to take place, but unfortunately that could not happen. Now sadly, the reality that we all once thought was never going to happen, is well and truely underway.
Thank you for the well wishes and messages that have been sent to us. Without your support, our achievements and experiences would not have happened.
We also take this opportunity to thank the many staff that have contributed to the success of the Black Bear Inn. Our staff have played an integral role in making the Black Bear a popular place to be, and we feel very proud of that achievement. Congratulations and thank you to all.
We look forward to hearing about the future successes of our beautiful village and wish you all the very best for good health and future happiness.
Ren will be sticking around in Thredbo for a while longer, but if you are ever in Canberra, we would love to catch up. There will always be a cake and some dry slice up for grabs, and beer oโclock with Stavvy.
Sincerely,
Sandy. Stavvy, Brie & Renee ๐ป ๐ป
