Do you ever just fall in love with a piece of art?
Yes, it is merely a print but something in this picture lightens my heart and makes me *sigh*.

So much so that when I first saw it I coveted it intensely. Logic overrode my want, and I walked away. But it played on my mind until I had to go back.

And here it is, hanging where it should be.

And it makes me smile every time my gaze drifts to it.

What a wonderful early morning visitor to The Manor this morning my relatives were totally thrilled

We have the most stunning bougainvillea growing up the pergola at The Manor. Been there many decades now.

But I do have to trim it back every 6 months or so, and boy, do I have battle scars every time! Pretty but savage.
