We just want to say thank you for everyoneā€™s kind words over the last few weeks. We truly canā€™t believe the amount of love and support thatā€™s come from our family, friends and the community as we begin this journey.

Weā€™re very aware that everyone is just as keen as we are to open, however due to liquor licensing taking its time, we do have to stay closed for that little bit longer. If you drive past, everyday you will see a few cars out the front with us (and of course our lovely tradies and friends) inside working away and creating a special space for our locals and visitors to come and relax, eat and drink which you all deserve.

Please know that as soon as we know we can open, you will know too!

Weā€™re keen to share more about everything that weā€™ve done inside but just know itā€™s not just a facelift! A lot has been improved while keeping the high country charm we all know and love. Our new beginning.

Make sure to ask us about it when our doors are open because everyone knows the Southgateā€™s love a chat.

We cannot wait to see your friendly faces at the Tolmie Tavern.

SUNDAY SEND-OFF AT THE TOLMIE TAVERN

This is it.

One last Sunday service with Doc and Kymmy at the helm, and weā€™d love nothing more than to fill the tavern with the people who have made this place what it is.

Come down for a beer, a yarn, a laugh, and maybe a few tears as we celebrate two absolute legends who have poured their hearts into the Tolmie Tavern.

And if nobody takes home the big one, weā€™re not stopping until SIX people have walked away with $100 each!

TODAYā€™S THE DAY!

Come join us from 3pm as we send off Doc, Kymmy & Peachy in true Tolmie Tavern style!

Weā€™ll be pouring one of our legendary Happy Hours, spinning the Plinko board, and raising a glass (or three) to the trio whoā€™ve helped make this place what it is.

And if youā€™ve got a Tolmie Tavern flanno, make sure you wear itā€¦ weā€™ve got something special planned!

So round up your mates, dust off the flannel, and weā€™ll see you all at the bar from 3pm.

The last Thursday with Doc at the helmā€¦ and fair dinkum, did we send it!Ā 

A packed pub full of our favourite people, plenty of laughs, cold beers flowing, and the biggest Blue Nose Pool Comp weā€™ve seen yet. The atmosphere was electric from the first pot poured to the last cheers of the night.

A huge thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a cracker of a Thursday send-off. Itā€™s nights like these that remind us what makes the Tolmie Tavern so special ā€” good people, good yarns, and a community that knows how to have a good time.

THIS WEEKEND AT THE TOLMIE TAVERN

We know a whole lot of you will be making the trip to Tolmie this weekend to raise a glass, share a story, and help us farewell our favourite publican, the beautiful Kymmy, along with our four-legged superstar Peachy.

Itā€™s shaping up to be a massive weekend, and we couldnā€™t be more excited to see so many familiar faces walk through the doors.

If youā€™re planning on joining us for lunch or dinner, weā€™d love you to book ahead where possible. Weā€™ll have the kitchen firing on all cylinders, but if everyone decides to arrive at once, there may be a few extra minutes to wait for your meal.

So do your future hungry self a favour and lock in a booking!

Whether youā€™re coming for a feed, a beer, a cuddle from Peachy, or one last yarn with Doc and Kymmy behind the bar, weā€™re looking forward to celebrating the end of an incredible chapter with all of you.
