A small country town.
A historic pub.

We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for the support already being shown to the new chapter of Toolleen Hotel ❤️

It means a lot seeing people getting behind this little pub and helping put Toolleen back on the map.

After more than 27 incredible years at the Toolleen Hotel and Australia Post, Jim is retiring!

Leaving behind a legacy of genuine country- style hospitality and dedication as the longest-serving publican in the hotel's 1873-established history.

Jim has been the driving force behind the hotel's growth. His approach to development has ensured the hotel's historic essence has been preserved.

We celebrate Jim's remarkable journey and the many incredible staff (too many to name) who have helped along the way and wish him a relaxing, well-deserved retirement.

From 4 May 2026 we extend a warm welcome to the new owners Raelene and Darren and look forward to the exciting innovations they will bring to the hotel. The community will no doubt welcome them with open arms 🤗
