It's time. Time to ditch disposable cups once and for all. From 1st August 2019 we will no longer be using single-use cups at our roastery cafe.
But don't panic - we have a range of better alternatives in place, so we're hoping you'll work with us in achieving our goal. There is a blog post on our website explaining why and how we are doing this (link below).
It's no doubt going to hurt our coffee sales, but that's never been our M.O. Because aside from being passionate about coffee, we've also always been all about appreciating the ocean and natural environment. So this is the next step we’ve been working towards. We are also encouraging other local cafes to get on board, and hopefully make Torquay disposable cup free.
