11 shows. 4 trailer stage deployments. 12+ technicians. 3,000+ km on the road.
The past fortnight has truly been one for the history books at Neighbourhood Productions.
Our team dug deep and absolutely delivered.
Last weekend, Sam, Mitch & Longy took on the outback trail, deploying our large format trailer stage twice in one week across Charleville and Longreach. Covering roughly 2,500km in two trucks, it was no small feat, and they made it happen.
Back home, Johlian, Gary & Sean led our local crew to deliver our 6th consecutive Thuringowa ANZAC Day Service for Townsville City Council, executed seamlessly.
Then came the May long weekend… and it went to another level.
Fresh off the road, the team turned the trailer stage straight around for a birthday celebration at the warehouse, headlined by the legendary Jet in the carpark. Huge shoutout to Adam & Dakota for holding down tech on such a massive show.
At the same time, Johlian, Harry & Gary hit the road to Cairns to meet Mark and Ben, delivering a huge double header at Fred Moule Pavilion:
Friday, Country Fest H***y Tonk Pre-Party ft. James Johnston
Saturday, The Factory ft. What So Not
Both looked absolutely massive.
Straight after Jet, our load-out crew rolled straight into action, transporting the trailer stage to The Ville Resort Casino and turning it around in a single day for their sold-out Margaritaville event featuring Hot Dub Time Machine. 😮💨
And while all of this was happening, the rest of the team kept the wheels turning:
Adam on The Wet Whistles at the Warehouse
Mitch on Townsville Rocks at the Dalrymple Hotel
Fletcher on Loading Dock at the Warehouse
Sean on Pulse at James Cook University
This doesn’t happen without serious effort, long days, late nights, early starts, and a whole lot of planning behind the scenes.
To our entire crew, thank you. The commitment, teamwork and hustle doesn’t go unnoticed. We’re incredibly proud of what was achieved across the board.
On to the next one, Outback Sounds in Mount Isa next weekend! 🤠
