The event takes place over four days and three nights involving more than 100 performers and events with concerts, dances, workshops, acoustic jams, youth festival, art and craft workshops and Elders village and more. What a fantastic weekend at the 35th Townsville Folk Festival! 🎶

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by, listened, sang along, shared a conversation, or simply helped create the atmosphere that made the festival so special.

We had an amazing time performing, catching up with familiar faces, and meeting so many wonderful people along the way. We're already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

🚗 HEADING TO FOOTS HILL STATION? HERE'S THE EASIEST WAY!

📍 From Townsville, head west on the Flinders Highway (A6) towards Charters Towers.

➡️ Drive approximately 43 km.

⬅️ Turn LEFT onto Dingo Park Road (the turn is just BEFORE the service station on the highway).

➡️ Follow Dingo Park Road for 10 km.

➡️ Turn RIGHT onto Webb Road.

➡️ Continue for 8.8 km to the end of the road and you'll arrive at Foots Hill Station.

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
✅ Use Google Maps (not Apple Maps)
✅ Download your map before leaving Townsville
✅ Access is via Flinders Highway → Dingo Park Road → Webb Road only
✅ There are no practical back-road routes

🌴 A little lineup update for the 2026 Townsville Folk Festival! 🌴

While you may know them as the much-loved Swamp Tigers, this year we’ll be welcoming Lauren Gregory to the stage as a solo artist!

Once hailing from Liverpool in the UK and now embracing the laid-back lifestyle of Magnetic Island, Lauren has been a familiar face around the festival for years and a regular performer on the legendary Stomp Box Stage. Now she’s stepping into the spotlight as part of the festival’s main lineup, and we couldn’t be more excited for her.

With her warm stage presence, heartfelt songs and deep connection to the local music community, Lauren is ready to bring her own special magic to Foots Hill this weekend.

Join us in giving Lauren a huge Townsville Folk Festival welcome as she takes this exciting next step and makes her mark on the 35th festival!
