After an incredible chapter, it’s time for us to say goodbye.

We are so grateful for the friendships, support, and wonderful memories we’ve shared with all of our amazing guests over the years. It has truly been a privilege to spend each day working in paradise and meeting so many wonderful people who have become part of our journey.

We’d also like to let you know that Brian & June will officially take over Balgal Beach Units on 3 August. We know you’ll make them feel just as welcome as you made us, and we wish them every success in their new adventure.

A special thank you to Andrew Acton from Explore Property for his professionalism, guidance, and support throughout the sale. We truly appreciate everything you did to help us begin this exciting new chapter.

As for us, we’re adding a caravan to the shopping cart and heading off towards our greatest adventure yet, spending more time with our children, grandchildren, and family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every booking, every chat, every smile, and every memory you’ve given us. We will treasure them always.

There’s so much to love about the NQ wet season 🌧️🌿

This is when our region truly comes alive with cooler days, lush green landscapes and waterfalls at their absolute best. From local waterfalls and gorges to the iconic Wallaman Falls, Australia’s tallest single-drop waterfall, the rains mean they’re all flowing and spectacular. 💦
