✨ Great to see that the walking tracks at one of Townsville's most prominent attractions, Castle Hill, are getting some upgrades! And even better that City Oasis Inn is located only a short 250 metres away! 🙌

👑 With Townsville Road Runners annual King & Queen of the Castle race now less than 4 months away, on Sunday 7th June, the tracks will be fresh and raring to go - so get a move on and ramp up that training so that you are too! ⛰️

Castle Hill Walking Track Works Underway 🥾🌄

Good news for the thousands of Castle Hill users - starting this week our popular walking tracks will be getting some much‑needed TLC.

Over the next 2 months, contractors will be undertaking works to:
🟢reinforce the track edges;
🟢clear vegetation and rocks;
🟢 repair damaged surfaces; and
🟢remove any protruding branches or roots.
Normal work hours are from 6am to 6pm Monday to Sunday.

We’re incredibly lucky to have these terrific tracks right on our doorstep and overlooking our beautiful city. Castle Hill is the centrepiece to Townsville's active and healthy lifestyle.

Please follow any warning or direction signs along the tracks and thank you for your patience during this time.
