Hi everyone, it's a very sad and a very happy day today for David, Emma and our family. As most of you know we bought the Motel in 2007 and finally we have decided to retire. With all the kids having grown up at the Motel from a very young age, with Nicholas now in Toowoomba, Abby in Melbourne and Daniel still at University in Brisbane, we have decided that we need to stop and smell the roses. We have so made so many friends with lots and lots of you that have stayed with us over the years and we have looked forward to seeing you each and every time you have made a booking. We feel so privileged and grateful
that you stayed with us when it was necessary for you to come to Townsville as we know you had many choices. We will cherish the many chats and smiles and compliments that we have received over the years.
We can't put into words how much we have appreciated your ongoing support over many years. The new owners are very lovely people and all the other staff are remaining the same. We ask that you continue to support our wonderful little Motel just as you have in the past. As for us we are going to spend a little time catching up with family and after that you may pass us on the road towing a caravan somewhere around this big beautiful country of ours.
Once again from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. We wish everyone the absolute best.
