Meet Paul, the owner behind The Fairfield 👋

What many locals now know as The Fairfield was once the Oonoonba Hotel. Three years ago, Paul and his business partner saw an opportunity to completely reimagine the space and create the kind of true community pub they felt the area had been missing.

Fast forward to today, following a full renovation completed just a few months ago, and the transformation speaks for itself. From the gaming room and bistro to the TAB and sports bar, every corner was thoughtfully redesigned with one goal in mind, creating a welcoming local for everyone.

The vision was always bigger than just a pub. It was about bringing together the communities on both sides of the railway line, from Oonoonba, Fairfield, Idalia and Annandale, and creating a space where locals genuinely want to spend time.

With incredible community support, strong local engagement, and partnerships with nearby sporting teams, it’s safe to say The Fairfield is exactly what Paul hoped it would become 🤝🍻
