Drizzly rain didn’t deter our guests from wandering around The Ville in Townsville, exploring the vibrant greenery, a multitude of colored flowers, checking out the pool, the cafe and then enjoying a coffee while trying to spot Maggie Island through the rain

Maggie Island Brewery…. Easy to recommend to our guests, no matter their favorite tipple. Open daily from 12noon, so we recommend you choose a beer paddle, indulge in one of their cocktails or enjoy some bubbles or wine. Of course, they also offer non-alcoholic drinks for the designated driver of the day.

A fabulous day out with Cliffy Wilson from tours, cruising around the island to pristine beaches, a well-known shipwreck the SS City of Adelaide, numerous places to throw in a fishing line and even found time for a dip in a delightfully refreshing waterfall. Our guests highly recommend Cliff’s tour.

Our Island Palms guests enjoyed a delicious, reasonably priced meal last Friday night at the local RSL. With a new chef and friendly staff, they highly recommend you try their meals on any Friday night.

Island Palms guests caught an early ferry to meet friends who had sailed in on Crown Princess, at The Ville. Fortunately the ominous dark clouds lifted, making way for lighter grey skies, however sections of Magnetic Island hid behind misty rain clouds on and off for a few hours.
