We interrupted Grant while he was making sure the b**rs were cold and the kegs were stocked.

Turns out he likes to keep things pretty simple.

Honesty.
Good work ethic.
Clean b**r lines.
And knowing the locals well enough that sometimes you don’t even need to ask what they’re drinking.

After years in customer service, Grant reckons that’s one of the best parts of working at The Dam — over time, the regulars become like family.

And what does he do when he’s not working at the pub?

Goes to the pub for a drink, obviously.
