Surfhouse Narrawallee has remained safe during our region's bushfire ordeal. Tragedy and loss is all around us. There are many stories, many perspectives, much emotion. I have posted the following on our website because it echoes much of our understanding in this time of loss....

Another summer is upon us and while the celebration of Christmas is over, (we trust that your Christmas had some special moments), we want to continue the blessings.
So, now to be excited about 2019 ... we are!
There is lots happening here in the SurfHouse ... and beyond. We are dreaming of SurfHouse connections around Australia...and even into Asia ... look out. If you are passing by, or through, or in need of a bed, come in and we can fill you in! Just like Taylor and Fillippe did .. and shared my birthday cake!!

The most life changing moments can come unexpectedly.

10 years ago my friend Leann invited me to go with her church to Bourke in NSW. This outback town is 900 km from Ulladulla ….…. a long way from the surf!!!!
Reluctantly I said “Yes”!

Little did I realise that what would start as a gentle whisper gradually would become a mighty shout! While I was there interacting with many of the local Aboriginal people, I recognised my own desert heart and spiritual `dry bones’.

It isn’t until a person drinks `living water’ that they realise they are truly thirsty.

This song is a reflection of that most significant and life changing time.
