Recent high tides have resulted in Beach erosion, exposing many tree roots.

Ergon is conducting a planned power outage tomorrow Saturday 25th Feb from 8:30am-2:30pm.
This will mean no power and water for the park.
No showers, toilets won’t flush.
Hopefully they will be finished earlier as they sometimes do, but please be prepared.
They apologise for the inconvenience.

Officers from the Cairns Cross Cultural Liason Unit will be hosting a community BBQ between 3pm -6pm on Sunday January 22 outside the Cairns Esplanade Police Beat. This is to celebrate Chinese New Years Day. This year is the year of the water rabbit. Come down and say hello to the team, enjoy the festivities that will culminate in fireworks on the Esplanade at 7pm

Pet friendly? Yes we are but please don’t bring in guard dogs, unsocialised dogs, 2 x friendly, normal, pooches is the limit and on a lead at all times.
Have had to turn away Dingo cross/friendly but barking,,,, Maremma dogs..guard dogs, left in cages on back of utes.
Please find a dog sitter at home and come on down to enjoy your break.
Less stress for all. Thank you.
