This beautiful little Mountain is an easy day drip from Lawrence House and is less crowded than some of other snow caps. Great for family fun and those wanting a day of snow play. ⛄️

This view!!!! I know I should be busily getting ready to welcome our next guest, but I keep getting distracted by this amazing view from the shady verandah of . From the first shards of sunrise light peeking over the mountains, to the amazing sunsets and the blanket of stars that fill the night sky, our guests are treated to an ever changing view. Just down the road from Lawrence House and Homestead at Glenwood is the scenic little hamlet of Myrrhee. Congratulations to Brookfield Maze for being recognised as helping to put Myrrhee on the map. 🥂

Spring is a fantastic time to visit and master the maze, enjoy the beautiful garden, and savour the delightful offerings in the Cafe.

What an amazing surprise it was to have these guys pay me a visit at Lawrence House yesterday. My reward for stopping momentarily, in what was a very busy day.

Their visit reminded me to slow down, enjoy the stillness, and be present in the moment. It was in that restorative, quiet moment that I realised the garden was a hive of activity. Birds large and small, frolicking between trees, bushes and the bird bath. It was such a joy to watch.

An abundance of protea in the garden at the moment. I love these striking flowers. They look amazing fresh cut in a vase, last for ages, and then dry to make beautiful dried arrangements. What more could you ask for in a flower?
