Moonabung Lodge is situated in Eaglereach Highland Park on Mount George near Vacy, overlooking the picturesque Barrington Tops. A short 30 minute drive will take you into the heartland of the wineries, The Hunter Valleys and other beautiful, historic townships such as Paterson, Gresford, Morpeth and Dungog. Perched right on the edge of the mountain with 180 degree rural views, is a cosy 4 bedroom

wood home. Sleeping consists of 1 Queen master bedroom and a separate room with 2 single beds downstairs. In the loft upstairs is a Double bed with an adjoining room containing another 2 single beds. 1 bathroom, 2 toilets, a combustion fire place, full functioning kitchen, TV, Stereo, BBQ, Air-conditioning and inside and outside dining. The oversized bedrooms offer sumptuous linen and towels, while the lounge is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing time complete with leather lounges and a combustion fireplace for those cool evenings. Eaglereach Highland Park extends over 1000 acres and is home to a variety of wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos, wombats, echidnas, goannas, a colourful mix of parrots and rosellas, and the spectacular wedge tailed eagle. You will have full access to the park facilities which include a swimming pool, tennis courts, work out area, children's play area, BBQ Pavilion pool room, walking trails and 4WD trails. If you don’t feel like cooking Eaglereach Retreat Café, Bar and Bistro is a short stroll away or order yourself a hamper to take on a bushwalk through the Rain Forrest or up to the Trig Station Lookout. Goonarook Lagoon provides fresh water swimming, kayaking (kayaks not supplied) along with BBQ picnic facilities. Spend your days exploring the area’s produce such as Bunna Bunoo Olive Grove located at the base of the mountain or take a drive to the local wineries in Gresford or Hunter Valley then curl up with a good book or gaze at the local wildlife all from your own backyard.
