Close Encounters Accommodation at Victor Harbor

As of today 16th November 2020 our Bed and Breakfast is officially closed. We thank all our lovely guests who have chosen our Bed and Breakfast to relax and enjoy the beautiful accommodation and gardens. After 16 years we have decided to slow down and find some extra time to take care of our flower plantation and nursery. We have made some amazing friends through the Bed and Breakfast and we will miss you. We wish you all well and hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year. Best wishes Nell and John

To our surprise late today we discovered a duck outside our kitchen window with 10 baby ducks. It is late in the season but they were all well and quickly walked down to our wetlands to enjoy a cool swim. We hope they stay with us.

We have added a new statue to our garden for our guests to enjoy. A new rose bed has been planted around our crane to enhance its features. Our Ibis that visit our wetlands are very interested in our new addition.

This is our new addition to our garden for our Bed and Breakfast guests to enjoy. It is very sensitive to the wind changes and rotates with the breeze.

We are very proud to announce that we have added another 6.4 kw to our existing 10 kw solar system so we now have 16.4 kw solar power. We are echo friendly and feel we are being a responsible business to help the effects of climate change.
