It is with great delight, tinged with a little sadness, that we officially advise, we have sold out business. As of the 3rd of March, the new owners will take over and they assure me, it will be business as usual. We will be having an official celebration in May, to coincide with the Sonbern's 110th birthday and the Kernewek Lowender. David and Maria thank all those that chose to stay with us over the last 20 years, especially our regulars and those that have become part of the family. We look forward to catching up with as many of you as possible, as we travel around this great land and beyond.

New Winter trading hours. As of the 25th of June, until the 1st of September out reception hours will be, 8am to 6pm. After hours arrivals will need to make prior arrangements with staff. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to the days getting longer and warmer.

It’s time to start planning your Christmas and New year break and Sonbern Lodge Motel at Wallaroo, still has some vacancies. We offer realistically price quality accommodation, with all modern facilites in every room. We also have 2, two bedroom Coattages/Villa’s, available for those who enjoy a bit more leisure space or family groups. We are located 800m from the nearest beach and only 200 metres from the local Supermarket and Hotels. We look forward to seeing you.

At this time Sonbern Lodge Motel is still own for business. However, at a reduced capacity. We are offering Courtyard Motel units and our Deluxe Cottages only. No standard rooms at this time, as we reside on site and need to comply with social distancing and family and staff safety. If you need to travel to the Copper Coast and require accommodation, be assured of rooms are safe for visitors. Bookings are by phone or Internet only and ETA is required for all arrivals. No access to the main building will be given and payments must be made prior to arrival. The upside is, we are offering our Courtyard units at standard room pricing.

This offer remains valid until the Government gives the all clear for unrestricted travel.

Pasky Field Days are done and dusted for another year. Thanks to all who chose to stay at Sonbern Lodge Motel. We appreciate your support and are happy to take reservations for 2021. Return guests get priority.
