There’s something truly magical about spring in the Yarra Valley… as the farm and orchard slowly awaken from their winter rest and the countryside comes alive again. 🌱💜

And then comes October, when our spectacular wisteria display bursts into bloom around Cherry Orchard Cabin, creating a breathtaking sea of cascading purple flowers.

It’s a beautiful time to stay, relax and simply enjoy the changing season — watching the orchard awaken, the landscape turn green and vibrant, and spring unfold around you.

💜 Wisteria usually begins blooming around October 5–9�💜 The display generally lasts 2–3 weeks�💜 Best viewed around Cherry Orchard Cabin, with the display also visible from Fig Orchard Cabin and surrounds.

The farm put on quite a show this morning. Frost-covered paddocks, soft morning mist, and a breathtaking winter sunrise created the perfect start to the first day of August.

Winter mornings at the farm are full of little surprises. Today it was the return of the hot air balloons, something we haven’t seen for quite a while. Watching them glide silently over our farm and across the valley was a beautiful reminder that the best moments are often the simplest.

We never take for granted the privilege of welcoming guests from around the world to our farm. Knowing that many of our international visitors don’t get to experience wide open spaces, peaceful mornings, and country life back home makes it even more special. Sharing this little piece of paradise is something we feel truly honoured to do. 💚🌿

There’s something incredibly special about watching children run freely through wide open spaces, spotting kangaroos in the distance, and experiencing the simple joy of nature up close. And just as heartwarming is seeing guests—despite their busy schedules—take a moment to leave such thoughtful and creative messages in our guest book. These little details mean the world to us and are what make hosting so rewarding.

Tuesday morning 23-6-2026 -

A little bit of excitement from the farm today... again! 🌅❄️🍒

This frosty winter sunrise captured at THE CHERRY BOYS – YARRA VALLEY was featured by Jane Bunn on tonight's Channel 7 Weather report.

Our guests from Singapore enjoyed this magical final sunrise before heading home, with kangaroos grazing in the paddocks, mist drifting across the valley, and the first golden rays lighting up the orchard and surrounding hills.

A beautiful reminder of why winter mornings in the Yarra Valley are so special.

21-6-26 WINTER SOLSTICE SUNRISE

A magical Winter Solstice sunrise this morning, shared with our lovely guests from Singapore. 🌅 Two hot air balloons floated across the valley as the first golden light broke through the clouds—a beautiful start to the shortest day of the year.

Captured this morning as the fog rolled across the orchard before breaking into a spectacular sunrise, it was one of those magical moments that makes country life so special.

A huge thank you to the Channel 7 Weather team for sharing our image with viewers across Victoria. It's always exciting to see a little piece of our beautiful farm and the Yarra Valley showcased on television.
