Mallangeeba Scout Camp Mallangeeba is a beautifully set scout camp 20 kilometres west of Hamilton, set on 5 acres of semi-b Casterton is home to the annual Kelpie Festival.

Mallangeeba is the perfect location for all camping activities. The camp-site is located on the Wannon river close to the Wannon and Nigretta Falls. The towns of Hamilton, Coleraine and Casterton are all nearby for day activities. Hamilton is home to the Ansett Museum, Hamilton Lake, great shopping and fantastic café's
Coleraine is home to Glenelg Fine Chocolates, The Points Arboretum and local ca

fe's. The camp-site has toilet blocks with hot showers, a beautiful old church and an atco building with stoves, fridges and bunk beds if tent camping is not your style. Come visit one of Western Victoria's hidden gems. email: [email protected]

The recent rain has made mallangeeba look amazingly green.The tiny Creek was flowing fast into the main Wannon River.

It's 21 years since the Wannon District Scouts amalgamated with Surry River District to form the Glenelg River District so on July 30th the Glenelg River District Scouts will be celebrating their 21st Birthday at "Mallangeeba" Scout Camp, Wannon.
If you were involved with Scouts around this time you are invited to join us in the celebrations.
