👷‍♀️ From Monday 17 October, we’ll be commencing essential bridge upgrades to Cement Creek Road Bridge leading into the Redwoods Forest in Warburton.

🌳 These critical upgrades will increase the load capacity of the bridge ensuring the continued safety of all visitors, as traffic into the forest increases over the holiday season.

🚶‍♂️ A new pedestrian accessway alongside the bridge will also be installed as part of these upgrades.

🚧 Works on the bridge are expected to conclude by late December. During this time, vehicle access to the Redwoods Forest via Cement Creek Road Bridge will be closed.

🚴‍♂️ The forest will still be accessible by bike or on foot via the O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail.

🤝 This project is being funded by the Federal Government’s Roads to Recovery Program, Bridge Renewal Program, and the Victorian Government.

It's been over a year since our last post.

Especially one of Avocado our cute little wood duck who is hanging out with us till he/she is old enough to fly off and be wild.🦆
