Hello everyone, how are you all? Can you believe it's now been 6 months, almost to the day, that we, as Challenge Chaser Retreat, closed our doors! Crazy really.

Last week our main pizza oven lost its life so it was time to buy a new one. Finally, after years of "pressure" from Liz, I had no more excuses not to buy a Thermomix oven. We had a dry run a few days ago in the shed. Tonight the real deal. It does cook in 60-90 seconds, it was great cooking by the firepit. Onwards to many more relaxing meals followed by marshmallows! Happy school holidays everyone!

We get asked alot about the bed configuration within our tents. The lighting isn't great, because it's raining but our next group happens to have asked for all configurations. So, we have super king bed, two king single beds, two king single with an extra kids bed, super king bed with two kids beds. These are the popular choices and allow us to cater for all family dynamics, single travellers, couples and everything in between. We are full this school holidays and for most of the weekends leading up to late November, but the January school holidays are looking clear-ish. I hope we get to host you!

We never forgot that CCR began as a place to do fitness camps. COVID stopped that and now glamping breaks is our thing. But we are never happier than when a guest decides they want a bit of PT training during their stay. Yesterday we were in the orchard, today, not so far from "home". .

We might not have guests this weekend, but it doesn't stop us using and enjoying the facilities. "We brought a zoo" was the movie of choice. Two happy little girls!

We can't deny that this past winter has been slightly challenging with putting social media posts up, so, upon reflection, we thought we would put a selection of our winter/spring and early summer night-time photographs taken from the previous 6 months or so. The night skies never fail to surprise us!.....and the days are pretty good too!
