A little change to tomorrow’s service. Due to scheduled SA Power Networks works, the Watervale Hotel will be closed for lunch tomorrow, Wednesday 21 October.

We’ll be back to normal service for dinner from 5pm and look forward to welcoming you then.

Looking for Shearing Shed antiques and pieces of interest.

Nicola and Warrick are currently renovating and expanding the old shearing shed at Penobscot Farm to create a function centre to seat 250. It will host guests on The Ghan northbound for a signature dinner.

Nicola is looking to create an authentic Woolshed feel to the venue and we are looking for items that could bring the shed back to life. We are thinking a wool sorting table, wool bales, even some old fleece, old hand sheers, old lamps, and anything else that could decorate the Woolshed with an authentic 1920’s to 1950’s feel about it.
