FOUR massive Group 1 races with the Caulfield Cup, Caulfield Thousand Guineas, The Everest and King Charles III Stakes, PLUS The Kosciuszko!

If the rain's keeping you indoors, you might as well be at the pub! 🍻

Friday kicks off with our community meat raffles hosted by the Comboyne Tigers, then Saturday on for the punters with 4 huge Group 1 Spring Carnival races. Saturday night it's time to dust off the cowboy boots for Rob Williams' Dirt Road Tribute show. 🤠

There's plenty of footy too, with Rugby League World Cup games all weekend and Bledisloe Cup Test 2 Saturday at 3:45pm.

And what better way to spend a rainy Sunday than tucking into a roast with our famous Big Yorkie!

Round up a few mates and join us at the Hastings Hotel! We’ll have the TAB pumping, sweeps running, live music with Max Marvell from 1pm and the best atmosphere in town. Upgrade to our $39 two course Melbourne Cup lunch with drink or order from the regular menu, the bistro's open all day.

A bit of exciting news for the Hastings!

We’re proud to share that the Hastings Hotel has been named a finalist in five categories at the 2026 AHA NSW Awards for Excellence. With over 40 award categories, it’s great to see our little regional pub recognised alongside some of the best in NSW.

🏆 Best Regional Casual Dining
🏆 Best Cheap Eat Meal Under $20 - Bangers & Mash

That last one is a special favourite of ours. Our good old bangers and mash, made with sausages from Larry at the Port Meat Store, has become a lunchtime favourite with our weekday regulars and the judges liked it too!

A big thank you to our hardworking team, our local suppliers and everyone who walks through our doors. Five nominations is something worth celebrating. Fingers crossed! 🍻

Here's a quick rundown of what's happening at the Hastings this weekend!

Friday: Community raffles with the Hastings River Pirates from 5pm then Karaoke with AJ from 8:30pm

Saturday: Bledisloe Cup match between the Wallabies and the All Blacks 5pm then DJ LOWENDS from 8:30pm

Sunday: $10 cocktails and free pool all day plus kids eat free at dinner!

Bill Roberts is live from 8:30pm plus there's prizes for best dressed and Jim Beam drink specials throughout the night.
