Fairy Afternoon Tea
Event: 09/10/2021
Enjoy a magical afternoon at the Perth Observatory.

"Out and About with Artemis at the Perth Observatory" is a children's book written by Dr Janet Baldwin and illustrated by Sharon Tapscott. The book follows the adventures of Artemis, a fairy guide that lives at the Perth Observatory, who likes to take visitors on a tour of the observatory and tell them stories about the people who used to work there.

Come on down to the Perth Observatory on Saturday, 9 October 2021 for a tour of the observatory and a fairy themed afternoon tea from 2pm to 4pm (doors open at 1.30pm). You will be able to meet Artemis and some of the other fairies that live at the observatory and then go on a guided tour. Will you be able to find all the locations in the book and hidden fairy doors? Make sure to come dressed as a fairy, elf, pixie or any magical creature.

Cherry Blossoms are some of the most beautiful flowering trees around. This might explain why the S&R Blossom Festival is so popular.
The gates to the orchards open for three weeks a year for some of the most beautiful scenic walks. They make for some incredible photos as well.

This year, the doors open between the 4th and 19th of September, Mondays to Sundays. The orchards are so picturesque and many art installations involve the Cherry Blossom, to look at.

While you're there, there are also tractor rides and bouncy castles to have a play on and they are both free! There is also an animal farm which is also free to attend, and who doesn't love an animal farm! If you have $5 to spare, then there is a ferris wheel, so you can see the magical, beautiful trees from multiple angles. If you happen to attend the festival on the weekend, then for $15 there are flower crown making classes to attend.

Pets are welcome and it is definitely a family-friendly event.
