Pedestrian Access | The new zebra crossing is now open! This improves pedestrian access for our residents walking to the Children's Hospital at Westmead. Located on the Hawkesbury Road side of our apartments opposite the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI).

The crossing forms part of the Parramatta Light Rail project. Keep up-to-date with ongoing activity at: www.parramattalightrail.nsw.gov.au

TRAFFIC CHANGES | Due to the construction of the Parramatta Light Rail (PLR) Hawkesbury Rd & Hainsworth Street will be ONE-WAY. There will be ongoing works throughout the day and on some occasions overnight. Wesley Apartments have been working closely with PLR to ensure they allow vehicle & pedestrian access to our residents at all times. We thank you for your ongoing support throughout both COVID19 and the light rail construction period.

TRAFFIC CHANGES | From today, new changes are in place for those exiting our visitors car park. Vehicles are no longer able to turn right out of the car park to our main entrance. This means if you are picking up a patient or visitor from the front entrance of the Hospital you will need to take the Jessie Street loop to get back onto Hawkesbury Road (map below).

These changes are due to the ongoing Parramatta Light Rail works on Hawkesbury Road and Hainsworth Street and will be in place until 2021. The $2.4 billion Parramatta Light Rail will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, and is expected to open in 2023.

We're successful recipients of the 2018 St Michael's Grant Program through Sisters of Mercy. The funding will go towards our Women's Services to run programs that assist victims of domestic violence in the areas of self-care, mindfulness and personal development. A huge Thank You to Sisters of Mercy-St Michael's Grant program for their funding and ongoing support. Together we will be able to continue improving our services in order to transform lives.
