We loved our third stay here as ever. Rachel and Mark have always been very helpful, warm and friendly and quick to respond to emails as well as texts or calls for assistance. Air con in The Olive worked wonderfully (much needed for chilly Queenslanders) and we found everything we needed throughout. Thank you perfect.

Tips for other travellers
Such a rich area to visit and explore; always new places and experiences - never enough time! Loved the new Tread Lightly wine bar in High Street and are sure the planned sandwich bar addition will be excellent. Great little gift and nicknack shops; love the Top Pub. Well worth trying the Dawn Patrol coffee on the way into McLaren Vale and the Neighbours homemade sour dough crumpets are a must. We were also most impressed with changes to Fall From Grace in Aldinga, had a lovely lunch at the Victory Hotel and our Indian meal at Aldinga Bay Cafe was great. We also never miss stocking up at Yummy Nuts and/or the organic foods shops in Main Road McLaren Vale. ... And where does one begin with winery/cellar door and micro brewing suggestions? We always love Olivers Taranga, Primo Estate, Yangarra, Willunga 100 and Berg Herring to mention a few, and I enjoyed a few lovely beers and stouts at Shifty Lizard in High Street and Goodiesons on Sand Road.

“Message:Dear Rachel and Mark, I just wanted to give you guys a great review but don't know where to do it, so I've written one below just in case you wish to use it.

FABULOUS WEEKEND
I had a wonderful weekend stay at the Olive Cottage with my two sisters helping me celebrate my 70th birthday. The Olive Cottage provides charming, cheerful accommodation in beautiful surroundings. I is quiet (double glazed window) and spotlessly clean, air conditioned and spotlessly clean. We were also provided with sumptuous, locally sourced breakfast provisions and had a lovely leisurely breakfast on the first morning. The Grape is centrally located in Willunga and we enjoyed exploring wineries and other attractions. Thank you Rachel and Mark for a wonderful stay. Kind regards, Marion from Yorke Peninsula.”
