A message from a happy customer!

Spent a couple of days at Goanna Cabana and it was amazing.From the time we arrived Charlie was there to welcome us and help with the luggage.The quietness and scenery were incredible-no TV but had wi-fi.If you want to get back to nature this is the place to go.Charlie made you feel at home even switched the heater on for us when we got back from the wedding the cabin was warm-Thankyou Charlie greatly appreciated.If we had to go back again definitely would.

I love our happy customers! A review:

We stayed at Goanna Cabana twice already as we loved it the first time so we came back to spend time during NYE for a few days.
Charlie always received us with a big smile and he is so helpful and friendly. We met Rosie on our second visit and she is also so friendly and lovely. We made used of their bbq area and outdoor table and we shared a home cooked meal together, which we loved.
The place is an amazing home away from home if you need to relax, sleep, have a dip in the pool and watch the birds and other fauna. The breakfast is served on the balcony and it’s just perfect.
We definitely made of this place our little escape to paradise and we’ll be back again!

A review from a recent client. Chuffed!!

From start to finish, this was an amazing experience! Charlie and Rosie are the most beautiful people inside and out. So accomodating and down to earth, felt like being welcomed home! Highly recommend you treat yourself to a weekend or better yet, a week as they make you not want to leave. The property is stunning, the private pool so refreshing, the views make you wish the sun didn't set, breakfast served on your balcony at a ring of a bell and the many more unexprcted little surprises, like the caves that surround. This Property really has it all, and some to explore! 10/10 for all aspects- I will definitely be making this my go to for all of my Hunter Valley trips! Thank you so much for a memorable weekend, see you soon!

Charlie’s warm and friendly welcome was much appreciated after an unexpected long drive along the Putty Road. He was so helpful and explained all the amenities. He even warned us that the friendly wombat might make noises under the gabana at night. After a great night’s sleep it was so relaxing to listen to nature on the balcony. We enjoyed the breakfast provided by Charlie and his wife. We highly recommend this place for an escape from suburban life. It’s a short 40min drive to Hope Estate if you are seeing a concert or want to visit the wineries. It’s a 5 min drive to the historic township of Wollombi. We will return!!
