In our Britpop Modern English IPA, we take a US IPA and start a revolution in your head. Traditional English malts and an English yeast strain lend a backbone as smooth as suede, then we add a blur of assertive, fruit-forward hops to create a truly unique brew. Confidence is a preference, and we choose this uncommon IPA for uncommon people.

"First impressions – once you get past the impeccable clarity of the copper liquid – are that it's most certainly modern: there's a sizeable, pithy, grapefruit-citrusy hop aroma that’s several rungs up the ladder from the more subtle orange marmalade character you might find in traditional English IPAs. Add in some candied fruit / blackcurrant flavours (the latter not atypical for English ales) plus an oily, resinous bitterness and it requires a bit of time warming in the glass before the distinctive malt character that's a feature of such beers gets much of a look in. The passage of time introduces earthy depth to the bitterness too in a beer that delivers on its (golden) promise."

Whether you love a resinous red IPA or a creamy nitro stout, we’ve got the perfect beer for curling up with by the fire.

🍻 Temptress Choc Porter ~ 6% ~ cocoa, vanilla, dark malt
🍻 ESB ~ 5% ~ malt, toffee, citrus bitterness
🍻 Irish Stout (Nitro) ~ 5% ~ roast malt, creamy nitro head
🍻 Wild Red Ale (barrel-aged) ~ dark fruit, balsamic, sour cherries
