The Bells Hotel is everything you’d expect in a traditional Aussie pub: Good beer, a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, big screen TVs, an old school juke box, darts and pool table. We think of The Bells as ‘A Country Pub in the City,’ a place to enjoy a relaxing drink, a touch of old-style Sydney charm and watch the world go by, down at the Wharf. pub food with outdoor seating,(thurs-Sunday) and regular live music on Thurs or Saturday night...

The Bells first opened it’s doors in 1922, making the hotel 95 next birthday and it’s still going strong. The Miles family is proud to continue a fine Australian Pub tradition since 1973. There has been a pub on this exact location, going back to the original ale house ‘Punches’ in1868, when Sydney's east was dominated by vibrant working wharves and the Garden Island naval base.
