Easter Sunday - https://tinyurl.com/28klcwyy As the sun slowly poked its head over the horizon, the Wyalkatchem Travellers Park began to awaken. Following last night’s extended Happy Hour, guests gradually awoke to the enticing aroma of pancakes and hot cross buns. Guests slowley made their way to the Kevin Jones Camp Kitchen, where they were welcomed by the inviting aroma of fresh coffee and tea The coffee quickly awakened the guests, prompting them to fill their plates with pancakes and hot cross buns, accompanied by homemade apricot jam, cream, and local wildflower honey. The Marvellous Melbourne Cup Hi-Tea - https://tinyurl.com/2yx9xjek For those visitors who stayed at Wyalkatchem Travellers Park and joined us for the Hi-Tea what a blast it was. For those who couldn& #8217;t make it, this is what you missed. There was a parade down the main st with Mr Damien Oliver arriving with this years Melbourne Cup on a horse and cart. The local children had a horse race using hobby horses and prizes were given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd. Good Friday at Wyalkatchem Travellers Park - https://tinyurl.com/28m49vlw The morning of Good Friday brought a lively buzz to Wyalkatchem Travellers Park, as caravans, tents, and RVs arrived to kick off an incredible weekend. Most guests spent their morning exploring the town, savoring coffee at the Wyalkatchem Garden Cafe, and visiting the local museum. Other guests basked in the sunshine, relaxing by their home away from home. As the day drew to a close, a lively group of guests made their way to the Kevin Jones Camp Kitchen to kick off Happy Hour. The unveiling of a new Mural - https://tinyurl.com/2c9m4w4c This Saturday 29th March 2025, is the unveiling of Wyalkatchem& #8217;s new mural. What a bright eyecatching piece of art work. The mural has been painted, by Tammi de Rooy, on the side of the Wyalkatchem Hotel. The amazing mural is a road safety message depicting scenes associated with the Wyalkatchem district. To celebrate this work of art, the Wyalkatchem community is holding a street party, which will be held on Railway Terrace from 5pm, there will be live music, food stalls, bars and fun for the whole family.
