We are pet friendly here at the waterfront and I would say native animal friendly as well! Although this guy didn’t have a reservation so we had to send him on his way. Book early next time matey!

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing stories from some of the crew members who have helped shape Spirit of Tasmania 🚢

First up is Emily, a Steward aboard Spirit of Tasmania II who has been part of our team for 20 years.

❤ Favourite memories of the current vessels:
"I can still remember walking up the gangway for the first time. I was so excited to start this new job. I’d never worked on a ship before.

My best memories definitely involve all the fun times I’ve had with the crew onboard over the years. We truly become like family to each other. The friends I’ve made and the experiences I’ve had are something I’ll never take for granted.

Sailing from Hobart to Geelong on Spirit II after the Wet Dock in 2023 will always be a highlight for me, as it was such a beautiful trip up the Tassie coastline."

🤩 What are you excited about for the new ships?
"I’m looking forward to creating a lot more wonderful memories onboard the new ships. They are amazing and well worth waiting for. I’m sure people will be impressed by them, and I’m thankful to be a part of it!"
