A huge thank you to grade 3 & 4 from Yolla District School for recently spending the day at the Tarkine Wilderness Lodge.
It’s always wonderful to be able to share the wonders of the Tarkine.
Together we explored the rainforest, visiting Mother Myrtle, stopping to take a minute to be quiet and take in the sights, sounds and smells of our surrounds.
We examined wombat burrows from recent wildlife releases, the chimneys created from the freshwater burrowing crawfish and giant moss.
It was lovely seeing all the students depart with smiles on their faces.
