Directed by Emmett Malloy, the documentary follows Jack Johnson’s journey from North Shore surfer to surf filmmaker and, ultimately, one of the world’s most beloved singer songwriters.

Rare archive footage and present day reflections reveal how lived experience, friendship and exploration shaped the sound and stories behind the music.
